I just finished my last lecture on my new Machine Learning Course!
I had the privilege of speaking in front of a highly motivated class at IA School. They tackled quite skilfully many challenges posed by machinelearning. We went through supervised learning with classification and regression, as well as unsupervised learning learning with clustering and dimensionality reduction.
I dived deep into the mathematical foundations of kernel-SVM, Bayes algorithms, Principal Component Analysis, DBSCAN and so on! We also talked about explainability and fairness, and how we have a role to play when creating new models.
I even showed them the clustering algorithm I developed while working on the DIAG-RAD project at LAAS-CNRS so that the students can see that research in machine learning is still going strong!
Of course, they had the chance to apply all that theory to hands-on projects I created so they could learn through practice. All the course materials are available here: https://github.com/Adrien-Dorise/machine_learning_course.
(Don’t hesitate to star the repository if you want to support me on GitHub!)
With this new course, I now have a wide range of training subjects in artificial intelligence, and more students who are closer to becoming great data scientists! From machine learning to deep learning, while diving into the fascinating field of reinforcement learning applied to video games, I am pleased and honoured to share my knowledge and passion for AI!
Again, thanks to Elodie Morabito and Manon LAURE for this fantastic opportunity!
Anyway, I have to go back, I still have papers to grade 🥸
Never stop learning!
